5th - 4th Annual Canine Creek Birthday
Bash Charity Fundraiser, from 10am to 6pm at Canine Creek. All
self serve bathing revenue received that day will be donated by Canine
Creek to the Doberman SOS rescue. The event will be held in
conjunction with our monthly shot/nail clinic, which will be from 1:30pm to 3:30pm
that day. Save Tehachapi's Orphaned Pets (STOP) will also be
holding an adoptions during the Canine Creek's Birthday Bash event.
10th - Save Tehachapi's Orphaned
Pets (STOP) General Meeting, 5pm at Edelweiss Deli. The public
is welcome to attend.
19th - Homestretch Greyhound Meet &
Greet adoption event at Canine Creek, 11am to 2pm.
19th & 20th - Tehachapi Humane
Society Craft and Bake Sale. Saturday the 19th from 8am to
5pm, and Sunday the 20th from 10am to 4pm at
the Veteran's Hall on "F"
Street. The Tehachapi Train Club will be there with their displays as
well.
21st thru 25th - Pet
Tag-a-Thon & STOP Fundraiser: Purchase metal pet ID tags at
Canine Creek or the Tehachapi Pet Lodge during the week of April 21st
for only $5 each... with FREE engraving! Canine Creek and the Pet
Lodge will donate $1 from every tag sold this week, Monday thru Friday,
to Save Tehachapi's Orphaned Pets (STOP).

Festival 2008 will be held at 23500 Sand Canyon Road, Tehachapi from
10am to 4pm, with a silent auction from 10am to 2pm. Ranch tours,
raffle drawings, face painting for kids, photos with animals, and much

14th- Guide Dogs of America Open
House. Join Canine Creek owners Bill and Susie Atherton and
their fellow puppy raisers at the GDA Annual Open House in Sylmar on
Saturday, June 14th from 11am-3pm. The GDA Open House hosts an obstacle
course for guide dog puppies-in-training to maneuver past food, animal,
and other distractions along with vet and travel situations. Mid-day
their trainers will perform a guide dog demonstration. Also available
are tables of merchandise, raffles, crafts, food, and a Silent Auction
filled with a variety of items from entertainment packages to pet
supplies. Join GDA for a fun day with lots of puppies! GDA is
located at 13445 Glenoaks Blvd in Sylmar.
